The Research Division in the Ministry of Health was established in 1988 and is mandated to coordinate health research in Malawi. The Division aims at generating quality information and making it accessible to all intended users for evidence-based decision making, through standardized and harmonized tools across all programs. The goal is to improve capacity to conduct research and promote utilization of research findings for evidence-informed decision-making in practice and policy formulation.
